Category: Mini Albums

Well. it’s official, I’m addicted to completing this mini album.

I’ve added paper to several pages I created. I’ve added a few embellishments. I need to get MORE embellishments!!!

This project is a fly by the seet of my pants project , meaning, I have no pattern I’m following. Just examples from You Tube.

So her is a sneek peek of how this album is turning out.

I’ve been wanting to make a mini album for some time now. I started this Sunday night after being inspired on Saturday, by a day of creativity at the Cutting Garden Stamp a Stack.

I started with recycled cardboard making  sure the 8 X 8 mini album had2 inch lips to create the binding.  I discovered this is not as easy as it sounds. I ended  up cuting off the lips that I left on the right and left cover sides. I kept the 2 inch lips on each side of the middle piece.

I used Colorbok Happily Ever After  pages as my base paper. I found this at Winners some time ago.  I then went to Micheals looking for a pad of paper that would compliment the Colorbok paper. This was more difficult that I had thought. So during the 40% off paper deal, I bought ” Habitat ” by Recollections Signature Special. This is a rich paper that has dept and shine to it.  I thought it would add much needed color to my project.

So, here is a first glance at my work in progress mini album.
